Continue following the highway until just before the Earl’s Cove Ferry Terminal, then turn right as directed by the Provincial Park signs. Follow the road to the Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park parking area. From the parking lot, enjoy a scenic forest trail leading to the famous tidal rapids and viewing platforms.

Driving time: About 55–60 minutes
Walking time to the rapids and back: About 2 hours

Directions from Bearberry Inn: Travel south on Highway 101 toward Halfmoon Bay. Continue past Sans Souci Road for approximately 1.5 km, where you’ll find a roadside pull-out on the right. Park here and follow the marked trail to the peaceful waterfalls.

Walking time: About 30 minutes return

Hiking time: 30 minutes to 1 hour

Directions from Bearberry Inn: Drive south on Highway 101 to Halfmoon Bay, then turn right onto Redrooffs Road. Continue for approximately 5 km until you reach Sargeant Bay Provincial Park. The trailheads for Colvin Creek Trail and Triangle Lake Trail are clearly marked near the park entrance.

Driving time: About 20 minutes
Walking time: 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the trail

Turn left onto the old garbage dump road (just past Oyster Bay Road) and drive as far as your vehicle allows. At the fork, take the upper branch to reach the trailhead.

Driving time: About 35–40 minutes
Hiking time: About 2.5 hours return
